Oliver AI Raises Early Funding for OliverDB Agentic AI Data Platform

Oliver AI has raised pre seed funding from Menlo Ventures and Unusual Ventures to scale OliverDB, an analytical data platform for agentic AI workloads.

Oliver AI has raised pre seed funding from Menlo Ventures and Unusual Ventures to scale OliverDB, the company announced in a press release. OliverDB is an analytical data platform built for agentic AI workloads in enterprise data environments.

The company says OliverDB lets AI agents query enterprise data in real time while using less compute than existing systems. Oliver AI said tests using query shapes from ClickBench showed OliverDB ran hundreds of times faster than ClickHouse on CPUs and thousands of times faster with GPU execution.

OliverDB also includes agent observability and governance across enterprise databases and Model Context Protocol servers. Companies can define policies for each agent, restrict data and actions, and keep an attributable record of interactions.

The platform includes a model swarm that runs smaller specialized models in parallel, with a conductor model selecting the conclusion best supported by available data. OliverDB is available now for enterprise deployments as a managed service or inside a customer VPC.
