Nominal Rebrands Around Agentic Performance Management for Finance
Nominal has introduced a new software category called Agentic Performance Management as part of a company rebrand, announced in a press release. The company said the category represents a shift from traditional automation tools to autonomous systems that execute accounting work without human input.
Nominal’s intelligent agents handle end to end finance workflows such as transaction reconciliation, book closing, variance analysis, and journal entry generation. The company said this approach eliminates manual intervention while keeping finance operations audit ready.
Founded in 2023 by Guy Leibovitz and Golan Kopichinsky, Nominal previously raised a total of 30 million dollars in funding from investors including Next47, Workday Ventures, Bling Capital, and Hyperwise Ventures. Customers such as Team Car Care and GSPP have reported significant time savings using the platform.
According to the company, Agentic Performance Management builds on its earlier shadow ledger model that extended existing ERP systems with AI intelligence. The rebrand positions Nominal to define what it calls a new standard for finance operations that run autonomously.
