Nokia Restructures Leadership with New Technology and AI Focus
Nokia Corporation has announced significant changes to its leadership structure with the creation of two new organizations aimed at bolstering its technology innovation capabilities. The Technology and AI Organization (TAO) and the Corporate Development Organization (CDO) will be effective from October 1, 2025.
Pallavi Mahajan, previously with Intel, will lead the TAO as Chief Technology and AI Officer. This organization will integrate Nokia Bell Labs, Technology and AI Leadership, and Group Security. Mahajan brings extensive experience in networks, software, and AI, having held executive roles at Intel, HPE, and Juniper Networks.
The CDO will be led by Konstanty Owczarek, who has a background in corporate development and strategy from his tenure at HPE and AIG. This organization will focus on strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and incubation activities.
These changes come as Nokia aims to strengthen its position in the AI sector and support its business development efforts. Nishant Batra, the current Chief Strategy and Technology Officer, will step down on September 30, 2025.
