MountAIn Partners with Alif Semiconductor for Edge AI Computer Vision Stack
MountAIn has announced a partnership with Alif Semiconductor to deliver a cloud-grade computer vision stack optimized for Alif’s Ensemble and Balletto processors, according to a press release.
The joint hardware and software solution enables high-precision AI models to run directly on low-power devices without the need for high-energy chipsets. MountAIn’s AI Booster middleware coordinates Alif’s internal processors to increase frame rates and reduce memory usage by a factor of three.
The companies said the integration allows device manufacturers to deploy vision models in battery-powered products operating within a 100 mW power envelope. Python developers can compile and deploy AI models to Alif microcontrollers in minutes using MountAIn’s single-click compiler.
The solution targets applications in smart cameras, wearables, industrial automation, healthcare, and home devices, aiming to provide cloud-level vision performance on compact embedded systems.
