Momenta Invests in AICA for AI-Driven Industrial Automation
Momenta has invested in AICA, a Swiss company specializing in AI-driven robotic automation, to advance its global expansion and reinforce its leadership in adaptive automation. This investment, announced in a press release, comes from Momenta's Industry 5.0 Fund, which is supported by Rockwell Automation and NS Solutions.
AICA's technology focuses on AI-powered force control, enabling robots to perform complex tasks such as assembly and surface finishing with high precision and flexibility. This reduces programming complexity and manual intervention, making advanced automation more accessible across various industries.
The investment will support AICA's expansion into the U.S. market and drive further advancements in AI-driven robotic control systems. AICA's solutions have already demonstrated significant efficiency gains, including a 98% success rate in gearbox assembly and a 75% reduction in downtime, showcasing the transformative impact of its technology in industrial processes.
