MEXC Survey Finds 85% of Crypto Traders Use AI

Oct 15, 2026
A MEXC survey of 3,708 crypto traders found that 84.8% had used AI for research or trading, but most remained reluctant to give it broad control over their funds.

MEXC surveyed 3,708 crypto traders and found that 84.8% had used AI for research or trading during the previous six months, according to a company press release. More than half used AI at least weekly, while 58.3% reported better market research and 46% reported better trade execution.

AI was used mainly before trades. Among AI users, 54.3% used it to summarize news, 48.6% for market analysis and 38% to find trading opportunities. Only 7.6% listed direct execution among their most frequent uses, and just 20% had allowed execution without approving each trade.

Traders showed more interest in automation when controls were available. Willingness to let AI trade automatically rose from 55% to 71.8% when the scenario included limits on funds, assets, positions, leverage and losses. However, 54% would give AI access to no more than 20% of their account assets, while 6.5% would authorize access to more than half.

Among 3,464 valid responses on safety standards, 95.5% supported at least one mandatory protection. A risk assessment or knowledge test before initial use received 55.3% support, while independent audits and mandatory capital and loss limits each received 38.8%. The results reflect respondents' reported experiences rather than independently measured trading performance.

MEXC is a cryptocurrency exchange, so it has an interest in traders adopting automated and AI assisted trading on its platform.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
