Mews Introduces AI Based Operating System for Hotels
Mews has introduced a unified AI based Hospitality Operating System that consolidates five core hotel management functions into one platform, announced in a press release. The system combines revenue management, distribution, guest messaging, automation, and financial management tools into a single data layer designed for the hotel sector.
The new system includes Mews RMS, which performs 150 million daily price calculations and adjusts rates automatically based on demand, resulting in an average 13.7 percent increase in revenue per square meter. The integrated Mews Channel Manager, powered by SiteMinder, connects hotels to more than 400 online travel agencies through one contract and support channel.
Guest Messaging unifies communication channels such as WhatsApp, SMS, OTA messages, and email, providing full reservation and guest profile context. It can also handle conversations autonomously through the Mews agent. The automation tools convert guest data into actionable tasks using visual templates or natural language instructions.
The Accounts Receivable module automates the entire B2B billing process from invoicing to payment collection, replacing the typical week long delay in hotel billing with automatic issuance at account closure. According to an IDC study cited by Mews, hotels using the system have achieved an 8.7 percent increase in revenue and a 476 percent return on investment within three years.
