Meta Platforms has signed a significant cloud computing agreement with Google Cloud, valued at more than $10 billion. The six-year deal, reports Reuters, will see Meta utilizing Google's servers, storage, networking, and other services to bolster its AI infrastructure.

This agreement follows Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg's recent announcement of the company's plans to invest heavily in AI data centers. Meta has increased its annual capital expenditures forecast to a range of $66 billion to $72 billion, reflecting its commitment to expanding its AI capabilities. The company is also seeking external partners to help fund this massive infrastructure, aiming to offload $2 billion in data center assets.

The collaboration with Google Cloud marks a strategic move for Meta as it continues to build out its AI infrastructure, including the development of major AI superclusters like Prometheus and Hyperion. This partnership is expected to enhance Meta's ability to support its AI initiatives and manage the growing demand for compute resources.
