MemryX and Cognitica AI have announced a collaboration to advance industrial safety through AI-powered systems, announced in a press release. The partnership combines MemryX's high-performance, energy-efficient AI accelerators with Cognitica AI's advanced vision systems to create comprehensive safety solutions for industrial vehicles and port equipment.

The joint solution, powered by MemryX accelerators, features Cognitica's M Series AI Edge Safety Assistant. This system offers scalable, low-power performance for real-time vision AI in multi-camera industrial settings. It includes multiple AI-enabled cameras that detect human presence and potential hazards, providing visual and audio alerts and automatically slowing vehicles when necessary.

By transitioning from GPU-based systems to MemryX-powered edge AI, Cognitica AI has achieved faster inference speeds, lower power consumption, and seamless deployment in industrial environments. The collaboration aims to reduce blind spots, predict risks, and enable proactive intervention, enhancing safety and productivity in high-risk environments.
