MeetKai and Pakistan Form Joint Venture to Build National AI Stack

MeetKai and the Government of Pakistan, through state-owned AXI Systems, have partnered to create the country’s first national AI platform built on local data and languages, governed under Pakistan’s own laws.

MeetKai and the Government of Pakistan, through its state-owned enterprise AXI Systems, have entered a joint venture to build a national Sovereign AI stack, announced in a press release. The initiative aims to create Pakistan’s first comprehensive national AI platform based on local data, optimized for native languages, and governed by domestic laws.

The partnership is designed to expand AI access across Pakistan, enabling next-generation government services in sectors such as healthcare, education, and public safety. MeetKai’s technology will support the development of AI infrastructure that aligns with Pakistan’s legal and cultural frameworks.

The joint venture will collaborate with federal and provincial agencies, public institutions, universities, and local technology partners to build talent pipelines and accelerate AI adoption nationwide. The effort is positioned to create new digital job opportunities and strengthen Pakistan’s capacity for independent AI innovation.
