Mastercam and ProShop ERP Connect CAD/CAM Data With Shop Workflows

Mastercam and ProShop ERP announced a partnership that connects CAD/CAM programming data with production workflows for precision machine shops.

Mastercam and ProShop ERP announced in a press release a partnership to connect CAD/CAM programming data with shop management workflows for precision machine shops.

Under the partnership, programs and program data from Mastercam, including tool lists, program numbers, and cycle times, will flow into ProShop production workflows. ProShop said its native AI tool, Chip, will learn from that information so estimators and planners can use program data from prior jobs.

ProShop has also entered a third party developer agreement with Mastercam. The agreement allows ProShop to build complementary applications and integrations that exchange data with Mastercam.

The companies plan to show parts of the integration at IMTS, The International Manufacturing Technology Show, at McCormick Place in Chicago.
