MAINGEAR Unveils aiDAPTIV+ Package for On-Prem AI Workstations

MAINGEAR has announced its aiDAPTIV+ package, co-developed with Phison Electronics, to bring on-premise AI fine-tuning and large-model inference to its Pro RS and Pro WS workstations.

In a press release, MAINGEAR introduced its new aiDAPTIV+ package, developed in collaboration with Phison Electronics, for the company’s Pro RS and Pro WS workstations. The aiDAPTIV+ add-on enables full-parameter fine-tuning and large-model inference on mainstream GPUs, allowing teams to run AI workloads locally while maintaining data privacy.

The solution combines MAINGEAR’s high-performance workstations with Phison’s aiDAPTIV+ intelligent SSD caching technology, which expands effective VRAM to support larger models and longer context windows at the edge. Key features include support for full-parameter on-prem training, compatibility with mainstream GPUs, predictable total cost of ownership, and simplified deployment.

MAINGEAR and Phison will demonstrate the aiDAPTIV+ package at Phison’s booth during the NVIDIA GTC event in Washington, D.C.
