Lumonus and Smarter Radiation Oncology Partner to Enhance Cancer Treatment

September 29, 2025
Lumonus has announced a multi-year agreement with Smarter Radiation Oncology to integrate evidence-based treatment protocols into its AI platform, enhancing radiation therapy across U.S. cancer centers.

Lumonus has announced a transformative multi-year licensing agreement with Smarter Radiation Oncology (SRO), announced in a press release. This collaboration aims to advance the delivery of standardized radiation therapy by integrating SRO's evidence-based treatment protocols into Lumonus' AI-powered platform.

SRO, developed at Northwell Health, has systematized nearly 90% of radiation therapy treatments across its cancer centers, setting clear prescribing standards and improving safety and efficiency. By embedding these directives into the Lumonus AI Physician platform, clinicians will have access to validated prescribing standards at the point of care, facilitating faster and more consistent treatment decisions.

The partnership is expected to enhance the quality and consistency of radiation oncology care, making these standards available to cancer centers worldwide. This integration supports Lumonus' mission to simplify oncology workflows by automating administrative tasks, ultimately helping physicians deliver safer and more efficient care.
