Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford has deployed R-Zero's Physical AI platform to optimize its building management systems, announced in a press release.

The San Francisco based company implemented its AI driven energy platform across the hospital’s building automation systems. The system uses occupancy data to adjust heating, cooling, and ventilation automatically, aiming to reduce HVAC energy use by 20 to 40 percent without the need for retrofits or upfront costs.

R-Zero’s platform integrates directly with existing management infrastructure and operates continuously inside the control loop to adjust HVAC setpoints based on real-time usage. It is offered through a shared savings model in which fees are tied to verified energy savings.

The platform is designed for organizations with large, centrally managed facilities such as healthcare systems, universities, and corporate campuses where occupancy varies throughout the day.
