LiveU Acquires Actus Digital to Boost Video Monitoring and AI
LiveU has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the business and technology of Actus Digital, as announced in a press release. This acquisition aims to significantly enhance LiveU's recording, monitoring, and AI capabilities, aligning with its mission to improve operational effectiveness and create more value from video.
Actus Digital is known for its intelligent monitoring and compliance platforms, which are widely used by broadcasters and media agencies globally. The integration of Actus Digital's solutions will complement the LiveU EcoSystem, which offers innovative IP-video solutions that enhance efficiency across the video production chain. This includes multi-cam 5G contribution encoders and cloud-based ingest, production, and IP-video distribution solutions.
Samuel Wasserman, CEO and Co-founder of LiveU, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, highlighting the synergy between the two companies' technologies and their shared commitment to quality and customer service. Sima Levy, President and Founder of Actus Digital, noted that joining LiveU will provide customers with access to a comprehensive IP-video EcoSystem, enhancing capabilities across radio, TV, OTT, and the internet.
