LexisNexis has unveiled the legal industry's first voice AI assistant, Protégé, designed to streamline legal workflows and enhance productivity, announced in a press release. This new tool, integrated within Lexis+ AI, allows legal professionals to interact using spoken language, simplifying complex legal tasks.
Protégé offers a voice-enabled AI experience that facilitates tasks such as legal drafting and case law summarization through voice commands. It also features advanced reasoning capabilities, enabling deeper collaboration between AI and legal professionals. The AI assistant includes a Planner Agent for breaking down complex legal questions and a Self-Reflection Agent for refining document drafting.
Additionally, Protégé provides expert witness analytics, offering AI-generated summaries of expert witness records and qualifications.
