LeanTaaS Acquires Aidin for Patient Flow Software
LeanTaaS has acquired Aidin, a care transition coordination platform used by more than 200 hospitals, the company announced in a press release. The deal adds Aidin workflows to LeanTaaS iQueue for Inpatient Flow, connecting discharge readiness data with referral and placement coordination.
Aidin coordinates more than two million referrals each year across a network of more than 21,000 care providers after hospital discharge. LeanTaaS said the combined software will support patient flow from admission through transition to the next care setting.
LeanTaaS said Aidin reduces length of stay by an average of 0.86 days, cuts placement time by 50 percent, and saves customers an average of $1.7 million per hospital each year. LeanTaaS software is used by nearly 200 health systems across more than 1,200 hospitals, centers, and clinics.
