Lantern Launches Agentic Commerce Platform for AI Shopping Visibility

July 01, 2026
Lantern has introduced a new platform designed to help ecommerce brands improve how their products appear and perform inside AI-driven shopping experiences.

Lantern announced in a press release the launch of its Agentic Commerce platform, designed to help ecommerce brands measure and improve how their products are surfaced and selected inside AI shopping experiences.

The platform uses specialized agents to evaluate how products are interpreted by AI systems, identify factors limiting visibility, and apply approved changes across product pages and catalogs. It also provides metrics such as the Agent Ready Score, AI Visibility Tracking, and Product Level Analysis to assess performance.

Lantern’s system adapts to shifts in AI models and retrieval methods, allowing ecommerce teams to maintain visibility as standards evolve. The company contributes to emerging frameworks including the Universal Commerce Protocol and the Agentic Commerce Protocol, which define how AI agents discover and transact with products.

The platform establishes a new category called Agentic Commerce Performance, focusing on how products are surfaced, selected, and converted within AI-driven shopping environments.
