Konko AI Raises $6 Million for Patient Journey Platform

Konko AI raised $6 million to expand its AI platform for healthcare clinics and hospitals in Latin America.

Konko AI announced in a press release that it raised $6 million in funding led by Hi Ventures, with participation from LifeX Ventures, SquareOne Capital, GroundUp Ventures, Phoenix Fund, and angel investors from Harvard, MIT, Google, and Tesla. The company said the funding will support product development and expansion in Latin America.

Konko AI manages patient journeys for clinics and hospitals, including appointment scheduling, patient messages, triage, and follow up care. The company started in Costa Rica and has expanded to Mexico and Colombia.

Konko AI said its platform has managed more than 2 million patient interactions across 90 healthcare institutions and 60 specialties in Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica. The company said 75 percent of those interactions are handled by AI from start to finish.
