Kasa Secures $40M to Enhance AI-Powered Hospitality System
Kasa has secured a $40 million investment from Silver Lake Waterman to accelerate the development of its AI-powered hospitality operating system, announced in a press release. This funding will enable Kasa to enhance its technology and AI capabilities, aiming to deliver better performance across its portfolio and improve both guest experiences and owner outcomes.
Kasa partners with real estate owners to efficiently operate hotels and apartment hotels, leveraging its proprietary technology and nationwide scale. The company currently serves as the exclusive short-term rental provider for half of the 20 largest multifamily owners in the U.S., including partnerships with major institutions like Starwood Capital and Berkshire.
With over 85 properties in more than 45 markets, Kasa's tech-enabled model has gained traction, particularly among boutique hotels, which now account for over 35 properties in 20 markets. The company has surpassed $100 million in annual booking revenue, more than doubling its business in the past year.
