Juno Health Integrates AI Scribe into EHR with Avo Partnership
Juno Health has partnered with Avo to integrate AI scribe technology into its electronic health record (EHR) systems, announced in a press release. This collaboration aims to enhance clinician-patient interactions by reducing the time spent on documentation.
The integration of Avo's AI-driven capabilities into Juno Health's cloud-based, ONC-certified EHR systems will allow clinicians to focus more on patient care rather than data entry. Avo's AI Scribe offers HIPAA-secure ambient listening in over 50 languages and can transcribe interactions involving multiple participants in real time. This technology has been shown to decrease documentation times by an average of 5-10 minutes per note.
By combining the transcribed data with existing EHR information such as past medical records and lab results, Juno EHR can generate comprehensive documentation that supports evidence-based medicine and maximizes reimbursement potential. This integration is expected to improve patient outcomes and reduce clinician burnout by streamlining workflows and eliminating redundant tasks.
The partnership between Juno Health and Avo will be showcased at the 2025 HIMSS Global Health Conference and Exhibition, highlighting their commitment to advancing healthcare technology.
