Immuta Adds Agentic Data Access Tools to Snowflake AI Data Cloud

June 02, 2026
Immuta has introduced three new capabilities on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud to help enterprises manage and govern AI agent data access, including natural language compliance queries and dynamic access control features.

Immuta has released three new capabilities on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud to improve governance and control of AI agent data access, announced in a press release. The announcement was made during Snowflake Summit 26 in San Francisco.

The new features include Immuta Agentic Data Access, Agent Principal Context, and the Comply App for Snowflake Horizon Catalog. Immuta Agentic Data Access allows AI agents to interact with enterprise data through natural language queries while Immuta enforces access boundaries. Each agent interaction is assigned a temporary, scoped role tied to the user the agent represents.

Agent Principal Context extends governance to data outside of Snowflake by creating dynamic, temporary access with full audit trails linking agent actions to authorizing users. The Comply App introduces a natural language interface that enables compliance and security teams to query Snowflake Horizon environments in plain English, providing visibility into permission structures and data usage.

According to the release, these tools are available through the Snowflake Marketplace and aim to allow enterprises to scale AI agent deployment while maintaining strict data governance and compliance.
