Immunomatics Receives $100,000 Investment From GenDx Cofounder

Myosotis Investments founder Wietse Mulder invested $100,000 in Immunomatics and joined the transplant technology company as a strategic adviser.

Immunomatics received a $100,000 investment from Myosotis Investments, the company announced in a press release. Myosotis founder and GenDx cofounder Wietse Mulder also joined Immunomatics as a strategic adviser.

Immunomatics is developing AI tools that combine transplant outcomes, HLA typing and machine learning to assess compatibility risks between donors and recipients. The company plans to use the technology to support donor selection for solid organ and blood stem cell transplants.

The company is expanding its clinical data, validating its models and preparing a regulatory strategy. It previously received a $207,740 NIH small business award and is collaborating with the UC San Diego Transplantation Lab.
