IFS Nexus Black Introduces AI-Powered Resolve for Utilities
IFS has launched Resolve for Utilities, an AI-powered solution aimed at improving field service management for utility providers, announced in a press release. The product was introduced at DISTRIBUTECH International 2026 in San Diego.
Developed by IFS Nexus Black, Resolve for Utilities combines field service management technology with Industrial AI to optimize disaster response, infrastructure maintenance, and workforce coordination. The system enables utilities to manage operations across regions and respond more effectively to severe weather events.
Resolve includes features such as Intelligent Crew Callout, which uses AI to coordinate field teams for maintenance and emergency work, and Mutual Aid Technology, which supports collaboration between utilities during large-scale disasters. It also provides mobile tools that assist field crews with real-time data and predictive maintenance insights.
IFS stated that the solution is tailored for the specific operational demands of utility workers, focusing on reliability, safety, and rapid implementation to improve service continuity and grid modernization.
