November 13, 2025
IFS Nexus Black and Anthropic have announced a partnership to develop industrial AI tools, starting with Resolve, an AI solution designed to support frontline workers across sectors such as manufacturing, energy, and telecoms.

At the IFS Industrial X Unleashed event, IFS Nexus Black and Anthropic announced a partnership to create industrial AI solutions, according to a press release. The collaboration combines IFS’s industry expertise with Anthropic’s AI models to support operations in high-stakes sectors such as aerospace, manufacturing, and energy.

The first product from the partnership, called Resolve, integrates Anthropic’s Claude model to analyze equipment images, sensor data, and inspection reports to predict and prevent failures. The tool is designed to help technicians and field workers identify issues before they cause downtime.

William Grant & Sons is already using Resolve to optimize maintenance and reduce emergency repairs. The company reported that the system has significantly decreased unplanned downtime and is projected to save £8.4 million annually once fully operational.

IFS Nexus Black and Anthropic are also applying Resolve to disaster response. The AI assists planners by predicting impact zones, directing technicians to priority sites, and recommending repairs based on captured video or images. Utilities using the system have reported restoring power 40% faster after major weather events.
