Danish diabetes-tech company Hedia has appointed Rasmus Kofoed as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1, 2025, announced in a press release. Kofoed succeeds Lars Christian Lund, who is leaving after two years to take up a Group CEO position at another international company.

Hedia develops digital tools that help people with insulin-dependent diabetes manage their treatment using data, artificial intelligence, and app-based technology. Founded in 2016, the company has grown into a leading European player in digital diabetes management.

Kofoed brings extensive experience from leadership roles at Novo Nordisk, Abbott, Roche, and Medtronic, and previously served as CEO of ChemoMetec. As Hedia’s new CEO, he aims to strengthen the company’s product platform and expand its international partnerships.

Chairman Carl Bilbo said the transition marks Hedia’s next phase of growth, building on the company’s regulatory and commercial progress under Lund’s leadership.
