HealthCatalyst Northwest Arkansas Names Seven Startups for Community Pilots

HTA and NXTUS selected seven startups for the first HealthCatalyst Northwest Arkansas pilot cohort, with each company paired with a local community partner for a $20,000 project.

HTA and NXTUS selected seven startups for the inaugural HealthCatalyst Northwest Arkansas pilot cohort, announced in a press release. The program, supported by the Walton Family Foundation, pairs each company with a Northwest Arkansas community partner for a $20,000 pilot project.

The AI focused pilots include Ashmi Health with UAMS for blood pressure and glucose monitoring, meal logging, and nutrition content for pregnant and postpartum patients. GaitIQ will work with the Jones Center on mobility measurement for adults 55 and older, while Huml Health will work with Arisa Health on monitoring after discharge for substance use disorder patients. Pear Suite will work with EverHope on billing readiness and technical assistance for Medicaid and other reimbursements.

The remaining selected companies are Life Startup Essentials, We The Village, and Welfie. Their projects cover housing transition kits, family engagement training for addiction recovery, and a rural health care workforce training and job placement pipeline.

Program impacts are scheduled to be shared at the HealthCatalyst NWA Innovation Showcase on September 29 at the Heartland Whole Health Institute.
