Harmonic has introduced a new AI orchestration service designed to help broadcasters and streamers integrate AI applications into live video workflows with broadcast-grade reliability and security.

Harmonic has launched a new AI orchestration service that enables broadcasters, streamers, and service providers to integrate AI applications into live video workflows with high reliability and security, announced in a press release.

The service allows media companies to manage multiple AI tools through a unified control plane, simplifying configuration, scheduling, and activation of AI applications. It supports real-time audio translation and transcription, dubbing, automated sports highlight generation, scene-level metadata creation, ad-break detection, and in-stream ad triggering.

Harmonic’s orchestration platform provides synchronized AI processing, built-in redundancy for failover protection, and unified governance for managing multiple vendors securely. Available as a SaaS offering, it integrates natively with Harmonic’s VOS360 Media SaaS, VOS Media Software, XOS media processor, and Spectrum X Plus solutions.

The company will demonstrate the new service at the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas from April 19 to 22.
