Harbor IT Acquires ComTech Computer Services to Expand in Southeast US
Harbor IT has acquired ComTech Computer Services, a managed service provider based in Graham, North Carolina, announced in a press release. The deal marks Harbor IT's ninth acquisition and extends its operations across the Southeast, adding to its national platform focused on cybersecurity, AI, and cloud services.
ComTech, founded in 1990, has served North Carolina businesses for more than three decades. CEO Mike Farlow and his sons Ethan and Hunter will continue with Harbor IT to support customers and contribute to future growth. The acquisition strengthens Harbor IT's Healthcare and Critical Infrastructure practices, which focus on life sciences and manufacturing sectors.
According to Harbor IT CEO Johnny Lieberman, the addition of ComTech aligns with the company’s strategy to build specialized teams with deep industry experience. Harbor IT now employs more than 400 people across over 40 states, continuing to develop its cyber-focused managed services platform for complex operational environments.
