Happiest Minds Deploys Agentic AI to Automate Insurance Operations at MUA South Africa
Happiest Minds Technologies announced in a press release the deployment of its Agentic AI solution with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) at MUA Insurance Acceptances Pty Ltd in South Africa. The system automates the handling of high-volume claims and policy emails, including attachments such as PDFs and scanned forms, received in shared Outlook inboxes.
Using generative AI-based classification and smart workflow orchestration, the platform routes each email to the appropriate claims adjudicator or underwriter based on expertise, workload, and availability. The implementation has achieved 99.5% accuracy in email and document classification while reducing processing costs compared to traditional generative AI models.
The automated system has improved adjudication speed and reduced manual work, allowing MUA staff to focus on higher-value tasks while maintaining compliance and security standards. Happiest Minds stated that the deployment reflects its growing capabilities in GenAI and its focus on scalable automation for enterprise insurance operations.
