Greeneye Technology will establish its North American headquarters in Salina, Kansas, the company said in a press release. Greeneye reported that machines using its targeted spraying system covered more than 500,000 acres across 12 states during the 2026 season, with weed detection accuracy above 98% and average nonresidual herbicide savings of 81%.

The retrofit system uses computer vision and machine learning to identify weeds and apply nonresidual herbicide where needed. Its dual tank, dual line configuration can also broadcast residual herbicides during the same pass on existing commercial sprayers.

The system currently supports corn, soybeans, cotton, edible beans, wheat, barley, triticale and sorghum. Greeneye plans to add oats, sugar beets, peanuts and canola in 2027. The company will begin hiring immediately and plans to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in early 2027.
