Gray Swan Relaunches Arena With $300,000 AI Agent Security Contest
Gray Swan relaunched its public Arena for testing AI agents, according to Fortune. The redesigned platform includes a $300,000 contest sponsored by Anthropic, Meta, Google DeepMind, and Reflection AI.
The contest, called Indirect Prompt Injection Black, asks participants to hide instructions in content that an AI agent encounters while completing tasks. Gray Swan will release new attack scenarios each week through Nov. 2.
Arena uses sandbox environments to limit the risk of damage during testing. Its rules require a person to direct each agent, and participants can be barred if they ignore an agent that takes prohibited actions.
The redesigned platform also adds beginner challenges that remain available outside major contests, training certificates, and a route for top participants to join private testing projects.
