Goodix Launches Fingerprint Security Portfolio for AI and IoT Devices

Oct 19, 2026
Goodix Technology introduced fingerprint authentication options that combine biometric matching with secure credential storage for AI and IoT devices.

Goodix Technology introduced a portfolio for fingerprint authentication on AI and IoT devices, the company announced in a press release. The portfolio includes Match on Host, Match on Chip, and an option that combines Match on Chip with an embedded secure element.

Match on Chip handles fingerprint capture, feature extraction, template storage, and matching inside the fingerprint module. It complies with the Secure Device Connection Protocol and supports unique keys for each device, reducing work for the host processor.

The combined fingerprint and secure element option stores API keys, login tokens, and other credentials outside the host processor. It supports FIDO2 authentication and TLS 1.3, while encrypted communication connects the fingerprint module, secure element, and cloud services. Goodix offers the portfolio with capacitive, optical, and ultrasonic fingerprint sensors.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
