Genomenon and Compass Bioinformatics have announced a strategic partnership to integrate Genomenon's Mastermind FLEX Data into Compass Bioinformatics' InheriNext platform, announced in a press release. This collaboration aims to enhance genetic disease diagnostics in the US and Japan by combining Genomenon's comprehensive genomic data with Compass Bioinformatics' AI-powered analysis tools.

The integration of Mastermind FLEX Data, which includes expertly curated gene and variant-level content, will provide InheriNext users with access to a vast collection of genomic literature. This enhancement is expected to improve the accuracy and efficiency of variant interpretation, offering clinicians and researchers robust, literature-based evidence for pathogenic variant analysis.

InheriNext, a web-based platform for genetic analysis, has already been deployed in over 40 leading research and diagnostic institutes in Japan. By incorporating Genomenon's data, the platform aims to streamline manual review processes and improve patient outcomes by enabling the reanalysis of unsolved cases as new genomic knowledge emerges. This partnership not only strengthens InheriNext for US users but also expands Genomenon's presence in Asia, establishing it as a leader in genomic evidence.
