
GenBio AI Welcomes Emma Lundberg as Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Advisor
GenBio AI has announced the appointment of Dr. Emma Lundberg as Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Advisor, as stated in a press release. Lundberg will focus on advancing GenBio AI's data strategy and scientific initiatives, contributing to the development of the world's first AI-driven Digital Organism (AIDO).
Dr. Lundberg is a recognized expert in spatial proteomics, bioimaging, and artificial intelligence. Her previous roles include Associate Professor of Bioengineering and Pathology at Stanford University and Professor at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. She also directs the Cell Atlas of the Human Protein Atlas project, which aims to map the spatial organization of the human proteome.
Eric Xing, Co-founder and Chief Scientist at GenBio AI, highlighted Lundberg's visionary work in understanding cellular architecture through AI and imaging. Her leadership is expected to be instrumental in developing virtual cells and tissues using AI foundation models, moving towards the creation of an AI-driven digital organism.
