Sep 24, 2026
Positive feelings about AI exceeded negative ones in 34 of 37 surveyed countries, although a median 57% of adults had never used the technology.

Gallup found that positive feelings about AI exceeded negative ones in 34 of 37 countries, according to research conducted with Microsoft. Among adults aware of AI, a median 72% reported at least one positive emotion, while 41% reported at least one negative emotion.

Across the surveyed countries, median awareness of AI was 81%, but only 43% of adults had used it. Singapore recorded the highest use, with 79% having tried AI and 46% using it daily. In Malawi, 3% had used AI and 1% used it daily.

A median 36% of adults aware of AI trusted it completely or a lot to provide accurate information. Trust was generally higher among frequent users. In the United States, 45% of daily users expressed high trust, compared with 8% of people who had never used AI.

The United States recorded the highest level of worry at 74% of adults aware of AI, followed by the Netherlands at 67% and Canada at 64%. Gallup found that daily users in these countries were less likely to be worried than less frequent users: in the United States, 68% of daily users said AI makes them feel worried, compared with 80% of less frequent users and 74% of people who have never used it. The results were based on surveys of about 1,000 people aged 15 or older in each country, conducted from April to July 2026.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
