Function Health Acquires Getlabs to Expand At-Home Testing Access
Function Health has acquired Getlabs, a mobile healthcare platform that sends licensed specialists directly to patients' locations, announced in a press release.
The acquisition will allow Function members to choose between visiting over 2,000 Quest Diagnostics locations or scheduling at-home and in-office blood draws through Getlabs. The company said the integration will make lab testing more accessible by reducing travel and scheduling barriers.
Getlabs' existing network of providers and partners will continue operating with added resources from Function to expand service coverage. The platform’s AI-assisted routing system will help optimize scheduling and improve on-time visits.
Function’s technology converts lab and diagnostic data into continuous health information, enabling AI to assist in long-term health management. The company stated that this acquisition supports its goal of making personal health data available wherever members are.
