FORT Robotics Acquires Mapless AI to Add Remote Supervision and Active Safety
FORT Robotics has acquired Mapless AI, announced in a press release. The acquisition adds remote human-in-the-loop teleoperation and onboard active safety features to FORT's Trust Platform.
The integration allows vehicles to be monitored and operated safely from any location, while enabling machines to respond to their surroundings in real time. FORT said the Mapless AI team brings experience from leading automotive companies, supporting FORT's plans to expand into sectors such as construction and logistics.
The move extends FORT's focus from distributed control systems to supervised autonomy, providing proactive safety capabilities for physical AI applications.
