Fleet Introduces Autonomous Endpoint Management Ready for Mythos
Fleet announced in a press release the launch of autonomous endpoint management designed to cut enterprise patch cycles from up to 94 days to under two weeks, and in some cases, to only hours. The system provides continuous patching and near real time vulnerability exposure reporting across major operating systems.
The new platform automatically identifies and mitigates vulnerabilities as updates become available. It includes reporting that tracks how long devices remain exposed and measures metrics such as mean time to patch. A policy engine compares installed software and configurations with known vulnerabilities, applying updates or mitigations automatically when compliance issues are detected.
Customers such as Fastly, Uber, Reddit, and Stripe are already using the system to maintain up to date devices and reduce operational overhead. Fleet’s approach allows IT teams to define custom patch policies, schedule updates globally, and minimize disruptions through staged deployments.
Fleet’s release coincides with growing concern over faster exploit development expected with upcoming AI models such as Anthropic Mythos and OpenAI GPT 5.5. The company states that its autonomous management capabilities give organizations a way to maintain secure and compliant infrastructure as AI-driven threats evolve.
