FDB Deploys AI Prescribing Agent With Tebra

FDB has made FDB Script Agent commercially available through a deployment with Tebra, announced in a press release. The AI prescribing agent converts patient visit dialogue into structured prescriptions for clinician review.

Tebra has integrated Script Agent into Tebra AI Note Assist, its clinical documentation workflow for independent ambulatory practices. The system interprets physician intent from an encounter and assembles codified prescription elements for an EHR.

Clinicians can modify or approve each prescription before it is sent. FDB said the agent uses its medication intelligence to check dose appropriate prescribing and does not stage prescriptions outside normal prescribing practice without a clinician override.

FDB also said approved prescriptions can move through FDB Vela, its cloud native ePrescribing network, which connects prescribers, payers, pharmacies, and patients.
