Engine No. 1 and Crusoe Launch AI Data Center Joint Venture
Engine No. 1 and Crusoe have announced a joint venture to provide powered data center real estate solutions for the artificial intelligence community, as stated in a press release. The partnership will focus on developing large-scale data center campuses in the United States to enhance AI compute capabilities.
The venture will leverage Engine No. 1's recent power partnership, which is expected to deliver 4.5 gigawatts of power, to support the AI-led industrialization of the U.S. Crusoe, known for its vertically integrated AI infrastructure, will contribute its expertise in designing and operating purpose-built data centers, including a significant facility at the Lancium Clean Campus in Texas.
The collaboration aims to accelerate the time to market for AI infrastructure, with plans to incorporate sustainable energy solutions such as post-combustion carbon capture systems. This initiative is expected to drive economic growth and create numerous high-quality jobs in manufacturing and construction.
