Elon Musk's xAI Launches Macrohard to Compete with Microsoft
Elon Musk has announced the launch of a new AI software company called Macrohard through his AI firm, xAI. The initiative aims to simulate software companies like Microsoft Corporation entirely using artificial intelligence.
Musk described Macrohard as a "purely AI software company" that will leverage xAI's Grok chatbot and the Colossus supercomputer. The company plans to develop AI-driven software and video games, with the potential to rival Microsoft's Office programs.
The Macrohard trademark was recently registered with the US Patent Office, signaling the seriousness of the project. Musk has also indicated plans to purchase millions of Nvidia GPUs to support the development of Macrohard, aligning with similar strategies by other tech giants like OpenAI and Meta.
