Oct 19, 2026
EchoNous has released Torso NXT, a portable ultrasound probe for its Kosmos platform, with built in AI features and a replaceable wired cable.

EchoNous introduced Torso NXT, a portable ultrasound probe for its Kosmos platform, in a press release. The probe is available in the United States and supports imaging of the heart, lungs, abdomen and bladder, as well as obstetric and gynecological exams.

Torso NXT includes Auto EF, AI FAST, Auto Doppler and Bladder AI tools. It also supports continuous wave, pulsed wave, tissue Doppler and color Doppler imaging.

The probe has a smaller body than its predecessor, a 360 degree grip and an IP67 durability rating. Its wired cable can be replaced on site without sending the full probe for service.

Torso NXT works with Kosmos Mobile, Kosmos Plus, Kosmos Tablet G1 and Kosmos Link. It retains the FDA 510(k) clearance obtained for the earlier Torso-One probe, while availability outside the United States will depend on local regulatory clearances.

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
