Digital Brands Group Expands AI Brand Protection with Outdoor Apparel Partnership

May 28, 2026
Digital Brands Group has announced a new AI collaboration with a global outdoor performance brand, supported by SECUR3D, to identify counterfeit listings and protect intellectual property across digital marketplaces.

Digital Brands Group has entered a new strategic collaboration with a globally recognized outdoor performance apparel company to strengthen brand protection through artificial intelligence, announced in a press release. The initiative will use technology from SECUR3D, a Vancouver-based AI brand protection firm, to detect unauthorized digital assets and counterfeit listings across e-commerce platforms.

The partnership builds on Digital Brands Group's earlier deployment of SECUR3D's AssetSafe platform with Herschel Supply Co., which identified counterfeit activity linked to an estimated $500,000 in losses during its initial scan phase. The company stated that apparel and accessories account for more than a quarter of counterfeit product seizures, making brand protection a key focus area.

Digital Brands Group has been expanding its AI capabilities through partnerships in influencer marketing, applied AI research, and digital asset monitoring. The company said it plans to continue developing AI-based infrastructure to help consumer brands manage intellectual property and online retail operations more effectively.
