Crabi has raised $13.6 million to expand its AI-driven auto insurance platform across Mexico, announced in a press release. The funding round was led by Kaszek and IGNIA, with participation from several other investors.

The new capital will be used to enhance Crabi's distribution network and AI-powered solutions, aiming to make auto insurance more accessible in a market where over 70% of vehicles are uninsured. Crabi's platform offers real-time, mobile-first insurance experiences, including instant policy issuance and automated claims support.

Crabi has achieved significant growth over the past three years, doubling its year-over-year growth and scaling its run rate by more than 20 times. The company plans to onboard more distribution partners and invest further in AI-driven operations to continue closing the insurance gap in Mexico.
