Corner Names Michael Sonnenshein Partner and Group President
Corner has appointed Michael Sonnenshein as Partner and Group President, announced in a press release. The appointment is effective immediately and places Sonnenshein on the firm's leadership team as it unifies its investment activities under the Corner brand.
Sonnenshein was previously CEO of Grayscale Investments, where he oversaw the firm's growth into the largest digital currency asset manager and helped advance Bitcoin exchange traded funds in the United States. He later served as President of Securitize and sits on several boards across the financial and technology sectors.
Corner operates across the AI economy through investments in technology, energy, infrastructure, and human experience sectors. Since 2018, the firm has backed more than 75 companies and distributed over 300 million dollars to its limited partners. The company maintains offices in New York, Palo Alto, Tokyo, and Tel Aviv.
