ConstructConnect has introduced Takeoff Boost, an AI-assisted takeoff service built on Google Cloud, announced in a press release. The service uses computer vision to identify, classify, and measure materials directly from digital construction plans, reducing the time estimators spend on manual takeoff tasks.

Takeoff Boost processes complex plan sets in seconds and provides structured, repeatable measurement outputs. It operates entirely on Google Cloud infrastructure, using the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Cloud Run with NVIDIA GPUs, and Google Cloud Storage to deliver low latency and high throughput performance.

The system is designed to help contractors and material suppliers handle large workloads efficiently without changing their existing tools or workflows. It automates measurement tasks, improves bid accuracy, and scales securely across teams using cloud-based infrastructure. Takeoff Boost is currently available through OnScreen Takeoff and will soon be integrated with PlanSwift.
