Console Secures $6.2M to Automate IT Help Desk Tasks
Console, a startup founded by Andrei Serban, has raised $6.2 million in seed funding from Thrive Capital to automate IT help desk tasks using AI, according to TechCrunch. Console aims to streamline routine IT functions such as password resets, troubleshooting, and app access requests through an AI assistant that integrates with Slack.
Console's AI assistant can independently handle over 50% of IT issues, allowing help desk professionals to focus on more complex tasks. The startup's quick integration process, which does not require replacing existing help desk systems, has attracted clients like Scale AI, Flock Safety, and Calendly.
The funding will support Console's expansion into other functions, including HR, finance, and legal, with the goal of becoming the first point of contact for employee requests. Thrive Capital's partner, Vince Hankes, expressed confidence in Console's potential to become an indispensable tool for client companies as its AI technology rapidly improves with user adoption.
