CobbleStone Software has launched AI playbooks aimed at improving contract negotiation and review processes. The new tools include smart clause matching, guided redlining, and automated clause extraction to help standardize and accelerate contract management workflows.

CobbleStone Software has introduced AI playbooks designed to streamline contract negotiation and review, announced in a press release. The tools aim to improve consistency and efficiency by applying AI to clause matching, redlining, and standardization tasks.

The AI playbooks feature Smart Clause Matching, which uses the VISDOM AI engine to perform side by side semantic comparisons of contracts and highlight deviations from approved standards. Guided Redlining provides built in negotiation comments and business justifications to support consistent decision making during review.

CobbleStone’s system also includes centralized clause libraries that serve as institutional memory for organizations, reducing reliance on individual knowledge. Automated Clause Extraction allows VISDOM AI to scan and extract clauses from incoming documents, keeping playbooks and libraries current within one workflow. Users can manage playbooks at both the contract and clause levels to support flexibility across legal and business teams.
