Cloudflare launched Kitesurf, a browser for AI agents that runs on Workers and supports tasks such as page inspection, screenshots, PDFs, and HTML extraction.
Cloudflare has launched Kitesurf, a browser for AI agents that runs on Workers, the company announced on its website. Kitesurf is designed to let agents navigate websites and complete browser tasks without developers building their own browser software.
The browser is stateless and runs on Cloudflare Workers. It can inspect pages, capture screenshots, create PDFs, and extract HTML. The Kitesurf playground includes Chrome DevTools in the interface so developers can view DOM elements, console messages, network activity, and memory use.
Kitesurf supports the Chrome DevTools Protocol, so agents that can control Chrome can also control Kitesurf. The playground provides a CDP endpoint for MCP clients, including opencode and Claude Code.
Each page navigation in the playground is limited to 20 seconds of CPU time and 60 seconds of wall clock time. The playground rejects schemes such as http, data, javascript, and file, and accepts hosts or https URLs.
